It’s a dangerous life being a pokémon trainer and even more dangerous being a pokémon stitcher. The poison type has always had excellent defences, and this time, you’ll have to watch your rows carefully so to not end up in the Poké Center.
The terror of every cave, anybody that remembers Rock Tunnel knows what a nightmare getting through it without a repel was. Zubat was the culprit and certainly will cause further misery on your amigurumi adventure across Kanto. This design is a fantastic representation of our favourite nuisance!

Golbat has quite the smile, and certainly an attitude to go with it! If you thought Zubat was irritating then you’re in for a nasty bite, Golbat loves to confuse all the pokémon trainers it encounters and would certainly leave you miscounting your stitches.
At first glance, this adorable pokémon looks harmless. However, looks can be deceiving. Oddish has a potent poison powder that will render you severely sick if you startle it. Successfully add the weed pokémon to your stitchédex then the challenge only becomes more difficult.
Things start to become a little miserable on our journey around Kanto. Gloom isn’t know for its smile, more for the nectar dribbling from its mouth and its poisonous complexion. This pattern does a fantastic job of highlighting the weed pokémon’s natural disposition.

True to its name, Vileplume is rather unpleasant. Its stench is quite severe, and that’s before you begin stitching it! The final form of Oddish, it’s been quite a journey to reach this point of putrid problems. Take care with this one, you don’t want to be left without a stitch.
If you felt the worse was already over, forget it. This creepy bug has parasitic mushrooms on its back that partly control its actions. To stitch a Paras, you’ll need to tame the mushrooms themselves. Try not to leave with a nasty pinch!

Now the mushroom has completely taken control of the bug and its eyes are just a blank expression. Perhaps the creepiest pokémon in the original Pokémon Red and Blue, your opportunity to stitch it could be your last. Watch out for its spores!

This adorable bug pokémon packs a potent poison that oozes from its body. This is a fantastic pattern, requiring a lot of patience to create the fur effect. Venonat is a great pokémon to practice some new skills with your crochet hook.
Venomoth changes your tactics completely. There are a lot of different components going on here since its transition from Venonat. The crown can be awkward to stitch, and the addition of wings and more legs make it quite the challenge.
